Remembering Ivan Kozlov

Ivan Kozlov, a serviceman originally from Kaniv, passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 38. He attended Secondary School No. 6 and later studied at the Kaniv College of Culture. After completing his education, he worked in Kyiv.

During his military service, Kozlov served as a rifleman and crew member in the 2nd Mechanized Squad, 3rd Mechanized Platoon, 9th Mechanized Company, and 3rd Mechanized Battalion of a specific military unit. His role was part of his commitment to serving the state.

Burial and Tribute

His funeral took place on June 22, 2026, at the central cemetery on the Alley of Glory. The community declared a Day of Mourning to coincide with his burial. Kozlov is survived by:

  • other relatives and close ones
