Rescue workers found lost tourists on Hoverla at night: how it happened

Рятувальники вночі виявили заблукалих туристів на горі Говерла: деталі порятунку.

In Ivano-Frankivsk region, mountain rescuers found tourists who got lost near Mount Hoverla. A resident of Kyiv, born in 2002, and his girlfriend, born in 2003, lost their bearings and got lost while descending from Hoverla due to rapidly deteriorating weather conditions. Rescuers maintained contact with them and despite the dark time of day, cold, and changing weather in the high mountains, quickly reached the tourists and ensured their safe escort.

Remember that in the mountains, the weather can change every minute. It is extremely dangerous to embark on routes at dark, as the risk of getting lost or injured significantly increases.
