Search and Rescue Efforts Conclude After Duliby Village Blast

Search and rescue operations have concluded in the Lviv region village of Duliby following an explosion. The blast resulted in three people being injured and hospitalized. During the clearing of the destroyed building, emergency responders recovered the body of a deceased man from beneath the rubble.

Emergency Response and Investigation Underway

A total of 27 State Emergency Service personnel from the Lviv region, supported by five specialized vehicles, were deployed to manage the aftermath. The work to clear the debris is now complete, and law enforcement agencies are currently working to determine the cause of the explosion. The Lviv region, in western Ukraine, has seen an increase in such incidents since the full-scale invasion began.

The explosion in Duliby was a significant event for the local community, resulting in loss of life and injuries. The ongoing investigation may reveal critical safety issues in the region, including:

  • potential violations of operational safety rules;
  • improper storage of hazardous materials.

Incidents of this nature underscore the urgent need for enhanced safety controls and greater public awareness regarding emergency preparedness.
