Rescuers from 12 regions are working in Odesa: how they are overcoming the consequences of attacks

Rescuers from 12 regions of Ukraine are already working in Odesa. According to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, this decision was made to provide assistance to the region after the attack by Russian invaders. The situation with electricity, water, and heat supply is complicated, and there have also been strikes on railway infrastructure.



More than 660 points of resilience have been opened throughout the region, mobile kitchens of the Emergency Service are functioning, and rescuers have organized the delivery of drinking and technical water. There is a noticeably increased number of police patrols on the streets, and public order and safety are under constant control.



“The work of the services is coordinated and controlled. The Emergency Service and the police are working together to help maintain the livelihoods of communities and assist people with the essentials,” reported Ihor Klymenko.


Mobile communication is operating on backup power, and there are also prompts to download the 112 Ukraine application to call emergency services even without mobile signal through Wi-Fi. The Minister once again emphasized the importance of adhering to air raid signals and safety during danger.



“We are all together with Odesa. The Interior Ministry services are working without breaks, so residents feel support and protection,” emphasized Ihor Klymenko.


The Odesa region is receiving the necessary assistance from rescuers from all over the country after the attack by Russian invaders. Currently, the situation with electricity, water, and heat supply remains complicated, but thanks to the coordination of services and constant control by the police, citizens of the region can feel support and protection. The Minister of Internal Affairs called for adhering to safety signals and using all available options to seek assistance in emergency situations.
