In the Odesa region, heat and water supply, as well as energy supply for critical facilities, have already been restored after the recent massive attack. Work on restoring electricity for all consumers is ongoing around the clock according to an approved plan. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kubela held a meeting with the leadership of the regional military administration, city authorities, and relevant services, as well as talked to local residents.

The quantity of fuel will ensure the operation of alternative power sources

Kubela, along with other officials, discussed the issue of energy resilience in the region. Currently, the main focus is on supporting the population. 764 Resilience Points are operational, which have already been visited by over 80,000 residents. The regional administration is organizing hot meals with the support of Food Train and will provide support to elderly citizens who need special attention.

Cooperation with businesses to support costs for generators and backup power is also underway. Local authorities plan to meet with entrepreneurs to develop compensation mechanisms for fuel expenses and other supportive measures.

The enemy's change of tactics requires swift measures

All services are working according to the plan for eliminating the consequences of shelling, ensuring that key facilities are supplied with alternative power sources. Physical protection of critical infrastructure facilities is also actively being built in preparation for the winter period.

Considering the new threats and enemy armaments, construction work is being adapted, and its pace has been accelerated. All measures are aimed at the immediate restoration and support of vital systems for the population of the Odesa region.
