The police in Odesa region detained a 43-year-old man who stole a service vehicle of the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC and SS). According to law enforcement officers, he explained his act as spontaneous. This was reported by

The incident occurred in one of the settlements of Odesa district. According to the investigation, the man was supposed to go for examination to the military medical commission (VLC). When he got into the TCC service vehicle, he suddenly jumped into the front seat and drove away, leaving the driver on the street.



Later, the thief left the car on the outskirts of the settlement and went home, taking the driver's bag with important personal documents.

The man, who has already been informed of suspicion of illegal possession of a vehicle and theft of documents, admitted that he did not plan the crime, but committed it unexpectedly for himself. According to the Criminal Code of Ukraine, he faces up to five years in prison. The court chose a preventive measure of house arrest for the suspect.
