On November 18, the head of the occupation administration of 'DPR' Denis Pushilin announced the introduction of a state of emergency in the territory of Donetsk region, which is currently under the control of armed formations.
Measures were taken due to the attack of drones on the Zuyivka and Starobesheve thermal power plants, which led to damage to energy equipment.
Large cities and regions attacked
The state of emergency extends to a significant part of the occupied territory, including the cities of Donetsk, Mariupol, Makiivka, Horlivka, Yenakiieve and others, as well as a number of districts, such as Volnovakha, Starobesheve, Shakhtarsk, Novoazovsk and Yasynuvata.
'On the night of November 17, combat drones attacked temporarily occupied Donetsk. After the strikes, the electricity in the city was cut off.'
A series of explosions and fires caused power outages in various areas, as well as triggered a fire that could be seen even in Makiivka.
Tense atmosphere in the occupied territory
Recent events indicate an escalation of the conflict and a tense situation in the occupied territory, threatening the safety of residents and the region's infrastructure.
