In the Poltava region, a group of civilians blocked the road to a vehicle carrying military personnel, after which some of them went missing. The incident occurred late at night on July 25. The civilians deliberately stopped the vehicle, which was carrying the conscripted soldiers en route to a training center. During the conflict, the vehicle was damaged, and some soldiers went missing.

“As a result of the forceful actions by civilians, the vehicle was damaged, and some of the mobilized individuals went missing in an unknown direction.”

After the incident, the Territorial Recruitment Center appealed to the Security Service, and an investigation was initiated by the State Bureau of Investigations regarding the soldiers who went missing. Additionally, an indictment was issued against the head of the recruitment point of the Kyiv City Territorial Recruitment Center for demanding a bribe for assistance in resolving mobilization issues. Ukraine mobilizes a significant number of soldiers every month, but according to the law, local authorities should take responsibility for their staffing, not officials from the Territorial Recruitment Centers.
