Today, according to meteorologists, there will be occasional brief rains and thunderstorms in the Left Bank region, while the rest of the territory will remain dry. The wind will be from the west and southwest (southeastern in the eastern regions) at a speed of 7-12 m/s.
At night, temperatures in the western, Zhytomyr, and Vinnytsia regions will range from 10-15°, while during the day it will be 18-23°; in the east and southeast of the country, intense heat is expected with temperatures reaching 35-38°, whereas other regions will see night temperatures of 14-19° and daytime temperatures of 24-29°.
Forecast for Kyiv region and the capital
In Kyiv Oblast and the capital, variable cloudiness with no precipitation is predicted. The wind will be from the west, and in the region, from the southwest, at a speed of 7-12 m/s. Night temperatures will be 14-19°, and during the day 24-29°, while in Kyiv at night it will be 15-17° and during the day 25-27°.
Throughout the week, from July 7 to 13, interesting cultural events will take place in Kyiv. In particular, at the Museum and Exhibition Center of the Museum of the History of Kyiv, an exhibition of one exhibit 'Kyiv Traditions Come Alive: Coffee Shop' is being held.
At the M. Zankovetska Museum House, a presentation of the exhibition 'From Professionalism to Dream' by self-taught Kyiv artist Natalia Vlasenko will take place. A concert will be held at the operetta theater on July 13 to close the 90th season.
