On the M-05 Kyiv – Odesa highway in Uman on August 13, a road accident occurred involving a truck, as reported by the Patrol Police of Cherkasy region.
Inspectors who arrived at the scene found that the driver of the Volvo truck with a trailer did not check the technical condition of his vehicle, leading to the bursting of the front left tire of the truck while driving.
"The driver did not maintain a safe lateral distance and hit a metal guardrail, causing the vehicle to overturn and collide with a DAF vehicle"
As a result of the accident, the patrol officers compiled a report under Article 124 of the Code of Ukraine on Offenses, which led to the road traffic incident.

On the same day, another road accident occurred on the Zhydachiv-Khodoriv highway, resulting in the deaths of two people, and three others were injured, including a 15-year-old girl and a 20-year-old young man.
