Weather forecast in Ukraine for December 9
Severe weather is expected in Ukraine on December 9 - rain and wet snow. According to meteorologist Natalia Didenko's forecast, wet snow will occur in Chernihiv region, Sumy region, in the eastern regions, in Poltava and Cherkasy regions. Rain is scheduled for Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, and western regions. In the center and south of the country, it will be cloudy without precipitation, with the lowest temperature in the northeast ranging from +1 to +3 degrees Celsius.
Temperature forecast in different regions of Ukraine
- In central regions, +3 to +6 degrees is expected.
- In the north, the temperature will fluctuate from 0 to +3 degrees.
- In southern regions, +3 to +6 degrees, while in the south of Crimea, temperatures may reach up to +10 degrees.
- In the west, the temperature during the day will range from +5 to +9 degrees.
On Tuesday, a southwest wind with strong gusts is expected in the western part of the country. In the center, north, and east, the wind will be moderate. Meteorologist Natalia Didenko noted: «In Kyiv tomorrow, predominantly rain is expected, which will intensify in the evening. At night, temperatures are expected to be around 0-1 degrees freezing, puddles will freeze, and during the day, the air temperature will be around +3 degrees». A warning has also been issued that from December 10 to 13, warm weather will be present, and a drop in temperature is expected from December 14.
Previously, cloudy weather was forecasted in Ukraine with strong winds and possible precipitation. Fog was predicted in the western regions at night and in the morning. There was also a warning about temperature drops and unstable weather with precipitation in the form of snow and wet snow for the following week.
Ukrainians should be prepared for severe weather that may affect their daily activities and movement. According to meteorologists' recommendations, it is necessary to pay close attention to updated forecasts and take appropriate safety measures in case of worsening weather conditions.
