This weekend, Kyiv's public transport will change routes due to markets

This weekend in Kyiv, some public transport will operate with changes due to the organization of food markets in various districts of the city. The restrictions will affect several bus routes. According to the Kyivpastrans company.

According to the carrier, the changes are related to markets on Mykola Zakrevskyi, Akadema Shalimov, Tatarska, and Ihor Yukhnovskyi streets. The temporary adjustments will be in effect on Saturday, February 21, and Sunday, February 22, from the start of operation until the end of the events.

Kyiv's public transport on Saturday: how buses will operate

On Saturday, changes will affect routes No. 2 and No. 101.

Bus No. 2 will run from Vakhtang Kikabidze Street to Vidradrny Avenue on its usual route, then – along Vaclav Havel Boulevard without stopping at Vidradrny Avenue, Akadema Shalimov, and Akadema Strazheska streets, after which the movement will continue according to the main scheme.

Bus No. 101 will travel from the 'Pochaina' metro station to Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue in a standard manner, and then through Ronald Reagan and Mykola Zakrevskyi streets before returning to its route.

Markets in Kyiv on Sunday: restrictions for routes No. 31, 110, and 112

On Sunday, February 22, changes will be implemented for three routes.

Bus No. 31 will operate from 'Polytechnic Institute' metro station via Beresteysky Avenue and a number of streets, including Bohdan Gavrylyshyn, Dehtyarivska, Belaruska, Yuriy Illienko, and Tatarska.

Buses No. 110 and No. 112 from 'Ukrainian Heroes Square' and 'Lukyanivska' metro stations to Raidozhna Street will travel along their usual routes, after which they will proceed via Ivan Mykytenko, Syrozhupaniv, and Ihor Yukhnovskyi streets. The return direction will remain unchanged.

The city transport company urges passengers to consider temporary restrictions when planning trips around the city.

 

As a reminder, in the 'Kyiv Digital' app, an updated notification system has been launched regarding changes in the operation of the capital's public transport.
