The Ukrainian athlete, serviceman, and law enforcement officer Alexey Dyagivets died on July 14, 2023, while carrying out a combat assignment in the Kherson region. He was the founder of the Rugby Federation of Chernihiv region and a well-known captain of the team 'Camelot'. He was only 36 years old.
Alexey was born in the village of Novye Borovichi in the Snovska community, graduated from the Chernihiv State Pedagogical University, and worked as a teacher at the National University 'Chernihiv Polytechnic'.
