Life and Achievements
Ivan Kononenko was born in Kyiv on July 26, 1983. He was an actor, athlete, participant of Vasyl Virastyuk's team, a medalist and winner of numerous competitions. Kononenko received higher education at the National University of Bioresources, worked in a clinic and had significant achievements in sports and creativity.
The hero's life was filled with various accomplishments, including participation in the Ukraine Open 2006 Olimp Strongman and roles in films and series.
Sacrifice for Ukraine
Ignoring his poor health, Ivan Kononenko decided to return to service. He signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he became a senior lieutenant and led a shooting platoon of military unit A1815.
In February 2025, Ivan Kononenko was killed in battle while fulfilling a mission near the village of Inhulske in the Kursk region, leaving behind a wife and two sons - 15-year-old Arkhip and 5-year-old Nikita.
