У Вінницькій області посилюють охорону кордону з Придністров’ям: встановлюють протимінні загородження.

Strengthening Defense in Vinnytsia Region

In Vinnytsia, the defense of the state border and the protection of Ukraine's national security in the areas adjacent to Transnistria is being reinforced. The Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration reported on the engineering works to enhance defensive borders, as well as the installation of additional mine-explosive barriers. These measures are being implemented in the Tulchyn and Mohyliv-Podilskyi districts.

Spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko noted that currently there are no active movements from the side of Transnistria. This indicates relative stability in this direction. However, in the context of escalating regional situations, such measures are necessary to strengthen defense capabilities.

Moldova's Plans and Recommendations for Residents

At the same time, the authorities of Moldova, in cooperation with the European Union and the USA, are developing a plan for the reintegration of unrecognized Transnistria. This may affect the overall security situation in the region.

In light of these events, residents and guests of Vinnytsia are reminded of the necessity to adhere to safety rules. It is recommended to:

  • Avoid visiting the border strip without special permission;
  • Not approach the specified areas of the territory that contain relevant warning signs;
  • Immediately report suspicious individuals, items, or activities near the border to law enforcement or border guards.

Strengthening defensive positions in Vinnytsia is an important step in the context of escalating security situations in the region. Cooperation between Ukraine and international partners, particularly regarding the reintegration of Transnistria, can significantly influence political stability and security in Ukraine. Continuing to monitor the situation at the border and adhering to safety measures remain priorities for local authorities and law enforcement.
