Traffic accidents with casualties in Vinnytsia region
Today, September 8, a number of accidents with injuries occurred in Vinnytsia region. The police are currently investigating all the details of each of them. As a result of the accidents, even children were injured. This information has been provided by the Vinnytsia police and published on the 'Glavcom' website.
In particular, in Vinnytsia, a Renault car hit a 23-year-old girl at a pedestrian crossing. The injured was hospitalized, and the driver was sober.
Another accident occurred between a Volvo car and a local resident driving an electric scooter. Both died in the hospital.
In the village of Luka-Meleskivska, a Ford and a Mercedes collided. A 7-year-old passenger from the second car was injured. He was also hospitalized. A criminal proceeding has been initiated for this incident.
Another accident occurred in the village of Julianka: a Fada moped collided with a car whose driver fled the scene. A 19-year-old moped rider with severe injuries was hospitalized.
Later, the police identified and detained the participant of the accident; his car was found near the Southern Bug River. A criminal proceeding has been initiated for this case, which may lead to up to 8 years of imprisonment.
