Mobile Safety Classroom Debuts in Vinnytsia

A new mobile safety classroom is now operating in the Vinnytsia region, designed to teach children essential safety skills. Its very first lesson was held for preschoolers from the Luka-Meleshkivska community. The session was led by rescuers from the State Emergency Service and local police officers.

During the class, children learned about the dangers of playing with matches and lighters, and reviewed road traffic rules. They were also introduced to the basics of mine safety, as well as safe behavior at home, outdoors, and near bodies of water. A key part of the session focused on teaching children how to properly report dangers and call emergency services.

Lesson Topics

The lesson covered several important topics, including:

  • what to do in case of a fire;
  • how to call for help from rescuers;
  • why suspicious objects should never be touched.

This mobile safety classroom is expected to significantly improve children’s awareness of personal safety and help prevent dangerous situations.

Rolling out a mobile safety classroom represents a major step toward helping children develop a conscious approach to their own safety. Similar initiatives can greatly reduce the likelihood of accidents, since teaching safety fundamentals from an early age encourages children to act responsibly toward themselves and others. These programs could serve as a model for other regions that also need to boost public safety awareness.
