An attack on a vehicle belonging to a Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) occurred near Ozero village in the Volyn region on March 8. A group of civilians assaulted the official car in an attempt to free a conscript who was being transported. The assault resulted in injuries to two military personnel. The incident has been reported to law enforcement for a full investigation. This event highlights the ongoing tensions surrounding military conscription in Ukraine during the war.

Details of the Attack

According to available information, approximately seven civilian vehicles pursued and blocked the path of the TRC vehicle. Through dangerous maneuvers and cutting off the car, the assailants forced the official vehicle into a roadside ditch. The group then smashed the car's windows and freed the man being taken to the recruitment center. This individual is a resident of Zaporizhzhia and is subject to military call-up.

The Volyn TRC stated that one soldier sustained a head injury, while the other suffered abrasions on his forearm and face. Fortunately, their condition is now stable. Authorities are currently working to identify all individuals and vehicles involved in organizing and carrying out the attack.
