An Unknown Person Set Fire to a Church in the Transcarpathian Region: Orban Responded

An event occurred in the Transcarpathian region that shocked Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Unknown perpetrators set fire to the church in the village of Palad'-Komarivtsi and left a threatening inscription calling for violence against Hungarians. He published this information in his post.



According to police, the incident happened on July 16 at around 10:00 PM. An unknown person entered the church grounds, set the front doors on fire, and left a provocative inscription on the facade of the building. The police have initiated an investigation of this fact in accordance with the Criminal Code.



«Forced mobilization, killings, arson of churches, incitement, intimidation. All this is happening to our Hungarians in the Transcarpathian region. We will not leave this just like that, you can count on us!» - Orban wrote.


Orban demands sanctions against Ukraine for human rights violations and opposes Ukraine's integration into the European Union and NATO due to such events.
