Russian troops carried out an airstrike in the Zaporizhzhia region

The village of Novoyakylivka in the Zaporizhzhia region became a target for the airstrike carried out by Russian troops. The tragedy resulted in the death of a 15-year-old boy, while his parents and two younger sisters were injured. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, according to 'Glavkom'.

Preliminarily, the strike was made with FABs (fragmentation bombs). As a result, the 15-year-old boy was killed, and his 12-year-old brother, 8-year-old sister, and parents - 40-year-old father and 36-year-old mother - were injured.

Also injured were two other men - aged 41 and 51, and all the injured are receiving necessary assistance.

Consequences of the airstrike

The house where the family lived was destroyed. Nearby houses were also damaged.

It should be recalled that on August 10, the occupiers struck Zaporizhzhia with guided bombs, leading to damage to the bus station and injuries to 21 people. It should also be noted that the counter-intelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine detained a Russian agent in Zaporizhzhia, who was gathering information about locations for new missile strikes on the city.

The Ukrainian region has become a scene for new events against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict in the east of the country.
