Participants of the international press tour from African countries visited Ukraine at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with France. Their goal is to inform their audiences about Russia's war against Ukraine and the role of our country in global security, especially in the area of food security.
This visit is part of the communication strategy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine aimed at engaging African media and is part of the created program 'Ukraine – African States', which aims to strengthen relations between Ukraine and the African continent.
Important Meetings and Events
During the visit to Kyiv, journalists met with a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and discussed the impact of the war on international security, plans for developing cooperation between Ukraine and African countries, the opening of new embassies on the continent, and collaboration in the field of education and food security.
Journalists also participated in the international summit on food security 'Food from Ukraine', which continues the humanitarian program of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky 'Grain from Ukraine'.
