The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, met with the head of NABU Semen Kryvonosov, SAP prosecutor Oleksandr Klymenko, Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka, and Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk. The president himself announced this in an evening address, as reported by Glavkom.
"Different challenges. We discussed all this," emphasized Zelensky.
Anti-corruption infrastructure without Russian influences
According to Zelensky, the anti-corruption infrastructure will work, but without Russian influences.
"Of course, NABU and SAP will operate. It is important for the general prosecutor to ensure that Ukrainian society sees the inevitability of punishment for law violators. This is very important for Ukraine.
Cases that are still pending must be investigated. Officials who have fled abroad should not live comfortably in peaceful countries without consequences. This is simply unacceptable," explained the president.
There is no justification for criminal cases worth billions dragging on for years. And it is unclear why Russians still have access to the necessary information. It is important that Ukrainian interests are protected. It is crucial that there is inevitability of punishment, and society sees it," emphasized the president.
During the meeting with the heads of agencies, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the need to work with the anti-corruption infrastructure without external influences and to ensure the inevitability of punishment for those who violate the law in the country. He also noted the importance of investigating unresolved cases and preventing possible information leakage in favor of criminals. Overall, Zelensky highlighted the importance of supporting the rule of law and fighting corruption in Ukraine.
