NABU and SAP are conducting an investigation into the case of the head of the regional council and his wife, who did not include property worth over 8 million hryvnias in their declarations for the period from 2021 to 2023.
The SAP prosecutor filed a lawsuit for the confiscation of assets belonging to the couple amounting to 5 million hryvnias due to the unknown origin of these funds, which were spent on apartments and two Audi SQ8 cars. It is precisely this amount that the investigators have established as contributions made by the head of the regional council and his wife in 2021–2024.
The detectives established that it was precisely this amount that the head of the regional council and his MP wife made contributions for apartments and two Audi SQ8 cars (from 2021 and 2024).
As a result of the investigation, NABU and SAP found that the head of the regional council and his wife could be subject to the confiscation of assets amounting to 5 million hryvnias due to the unspecified origin of funds spent on real estate and cars.
