NABU and SAP have completed the investigation into the case of three former heads of commercial courts suspected of receiving bribes for issuing special court decisions and influencing judges who examined the relevant cases. All materials are open to the defense parties.
According to the investigation, the suspects offered a businessman to agree on resolving court cases for 1 million US dollars. This amount was planned to be divided depending on the role of each participant. These criminal actions also involved a judge from the appellate commercial court, who issued one ordered decision for a fee. NABU and SAP documented the transfer of 75 thousand US dollars, part of which was found with this judge.
As a result of the investigation, NABU and SAP took an important step in the fight against corruption in the judicial system, demonstrating their readiness to respond to such violations and hold those responsible accountable.
