After the detection of a corruption scheme in the National Guard, those involved were dismissed from their positions and an internal investigation has begun. Interior Minister Igor Klymenko emphasized that there are no untouchables among lawbreakers and that corruption will face unavoidable responsibility.
At the same time, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau uncovered corruption schemes in the National Guard, as well as facts of bribery involving a member of parliament. The 'Servant of the People' faction suspended the membership of the suspected MP, but does not disclose information about other participants in the case.
As a result of the detection of corruption schemes in the National Guard and among members of parliament, internal investigations have been initiated and preventive measures implemented to prevent future abuses.
