The National Bank supports the implementation of ESG standards. The Director of the Financial Stability Department of the NBU, Pervin Dadashova, expressed her position during participation in the forum. She noted that the banking sector is ready for these steps, as it has been advancing in this direction for already two years. The National Bank's plans include the development of methodological recommendations, preparation of strategies for managing ESG risks, and other initiatives in this area.
Thus, the National Bank is actively working on the implementation of ESG standards in the banking sector, promoting sustainable development of the Ukrainian economy and improving conditions for clients who benefit from state support.
