Starting from April 7, Ukrainians began to receive cashback for purchases made in February under the "National Cashback" program. Payments will be received by over 4.46 million users who have accumulated at least 2 UAH and selected a card for payouts in the Diia application. This is reported by the Ministry of Economy.
National cashback for February 2026: how and to whom payments are accrued
Cashback will be credited directly to the bank cards linked to the program. Some users will simultaneously receive payments for January, which were previously delayed due to additional data processing with banks.
Those who can receive funds include:
-
participants of the "National Cashback" program,
-
users who have accumulated more than 2 UAH,
-
those who selected a special card in the "Diia" application.
The program already covers millions of Ukrainians and aims to support demand for domestic products.
Cashback in 2026: new rates and rules
For February, cashback was accrued at a fixed rate of 10%. At the same time, a new differentiated model started operating from March 1.
The following levels are provided:
-
15% – for products where imports dominate (cosmetics, household chemicals, clothing, certain food products),
-
5% – for categories where Ukrainian producers have strong positions (food products, medicines, beverages).
There is a separate cashback for fuel:
-
15% – for diesel,
-
10% – for gasoline,
-
5% – for autogas.
It is important to note that cashback is accrued only for cashless payments and is not subject to taxation.
Funds can be used for:
-
payment of utility services,
-
purchase of Ukrainian products and medicines,
-
payment for postal services,
-
purchase of books,
-
charitable donations, including support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Cashback cannot be withdrawn as cash or transferred to another card.
Let us remind you, the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture explained the procedure for receiving cashback for fuel within the "National Cashback" program and actions in case it is not accrued. The program allows Ukrainians to receive cashback for purchasing fuel at gas stations, which has become relevant since March 20 of this year.
