Problems with heating networks in Kryvyi Rih
The National Joint Stock Company 'Naftogaz' did not meet the plan for replacing emergency heating networks in Kryvyi Rih, where 90 km of pipes were to be replaced. Oleg Popenko, chairman of the Consumers' Union of Utility Services, stated this. According to him, the work is significantly behind schedule, which may threaten the residents of the city.
The situation in Kryvyi Rih is complicated by a strike on the substation, which has further worsened the state of the heating networks. During the last heating season, more than 400 houses in Kryvyi Rih were left without heat, causing concern among residents.
'Naftogaz's desire to do something' does not change the situation, which remains critical. Oleg Popenko
In addition, Popenko pointed to the large number of excavated sites, where only a dozen or so people are working. He emphasized that the situation in Kryvyi Rih is 'sad', especially considering that frosts of minus 10 and below are expected. This could create additional difficulties for residents who have already suffered from the lack of heat.
The importance of effective management of utility services
The failure to meet the heating network repair plan in Kryvyi Rih jeopardizes the comfort and safety of residents, especially with the approaching winter frosts. The lack of sufficient workers on sites and delays in carrying out work could lead to serious consequences if the situation is not resolved promptly.
This underscores the importance of effective management of utility services in crisis situations.
