Refutation of information about gas supply restrictions
The company 'Naftogaz' has refuted information about gas supply restrictions in Khmelnytskyi, assuring that gas supply is occurring in full. The company's statement noted that there are no restrictions – neither in Khmelnytskyi nor in any other region of Ukraine – and none are planned.
Furthermore, Naftogaz emphasized that such fakes are part of a targeted discrediting campaign. The company urged consumers not to succumb to disinformation and to verify information from official sources.
Threats from phishing emails
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Energy also does not engage in phishing emails, and files from such emails may contain malicious software. The Ministry urges citizens:
- not to open attachments;
- not to click on links;
- not to make any payments in response to such emails.
This situation highlights the importance of verifying information and being cautious in the context of misinformation, especially in the energy sector, where any rumors can lead to panic among consumers. In the face of global challenges, it is important for Ukraine to maintain stability in energy resource supplies and to counter attempts to destabilize the situation through fakes.
