Naftogaz Finalizes Billing for January 2026
Naftogaz has completed its billing calculations for January 2026. While paper invoices will be sent after the 20th, digital versions are already available for online payment. The price of gas for household consumers remains fixed at 7.96 UAH per cubic meter, a rate guaranteed at least until the end of April 2026. This price freeze is part of broader economic measures during a period of national crisis.
Adjustments to Gas Transportation Fees
Many consumers have observed changes in their gas transportation charges starting January 2026. The delivery fee is recalculated every January based on the customer's actual consumption volumes from the previous gas year. Therefore, the new figures in the transportation column of your bill likely reflect a change in your recorded usage from the prior year.
Naftogaz has further clarified that, due to an ongoing wartime moratorium on tariff increases, the gas price itself is not expected to change even after the heating season concludes on May 1st. Consumers can access their bills through several convenient channels, including:
- The Kub mobile application
- The personal account on the website my.gas.ua
- GASUA chatbots on Telegram and Viber
The gas.ua website also provides functionality for viewing billing information and making payments.
This information is crucial for consumers, as stable utility pricing during wartime offers a degree of financial predictability amidst broader economic uncertainty. The expanded range of digital access points also simplifies the process of managing and paying utility bills. The adjusted transportation fees, tied directly to individual consumption, represent a market-based mechanism that can impact household budgets across Ukraine.
