Ukraine has witnessed an incredible attack by Russia - last night the neighboring country's forces shelled gas extraction facilities in Kharkiv and Poltava regions. 35 missiles and 60 kamikaze drones were launched at Ukrainian sites. While some targeted facilities were destroyed, the integrity of some affected enterprises is very questionable.

'This was a bloody attempt at terrorism aimed at peaceful citizens who depend on gas for their daily lives. It is hard to imagine what political motives could have driven such brutal attacks. But we will not give up, we will continue to prevent and cut off such hostile actions,' commented the head of the company.

As a result of this attack, many enterprises suffered extensive damage, which may seriously complicate the situation with energy supply. Currently, Naftogaz teams, rescuers, and other services are working at the sites of the events, trying to minimize losses and restore the operations of the enterprises.

Elimination of the consequences of the attack

Efforts are currently focused on eliminating the consequences of the attack, as well as on cooperating with international partners for immediate response. It is important to respond openly to terrorist actions and to hold firmly to protecting our rights and dignity.
