Updated Guidelines for Submitting Gas Meter Readings
Naftogaz of Ukraine has issued updated procedures for customers to submit their gas meter readings, outlining the available methods, the importance of correct payment, and changes to the company's bank details. According to the Gas Distribution System Code approved by the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC), consumers are personally responsible for recording and submitting their meter data. These readings must be submitted between the 28th of the month and the 5th of the following month.
If a payment is missed by the 25th of the current month, customers will receive a bill with the outstanding debt in the next billing cycle. This underscores the critical need for timely payment of gas invoices to avoid complications.
Methods for Submitting Readings and New Payment Details
Consumers can submit their gas meter readings through several convenient channels:
- Via their personal online account
- Using the "Kub" mobile application
- By sending an SMS to the number 4647
- On the supplier's official website
These options provide flexibility for users and help prevent potential issues with consumption accounting.
Furthermore, Naftogaz of Ukraine has changed its banking details for gas bill payments.
"The updated banking details for Naftogaz of Ukraine will be indicated on payment slips. In partner banks, the payment details will be updated automatically," stated the company's press center. This is a significant update that customers must note when making payments. As Ukraine's state-owned energy giant, Naftogaz's operational changes impact millions of households.
These updates to the meter reading rules and the new banking information are crucial for consumers to ensure accurate consumption tracking and avoid incurring debts. Adhering to the correct data submission deadlines and paying bills on time will help customers avoid financial difficulties and maintain stability in their utility payments. The variety of available submission methods also makes the process more user-friendly.
