The State Agency PlayCity imposed a fine on blogger Anna Alkhim for illegal advertising of gambling on Instagram stories. During monitoring, the agency's team recorded casino advertisements, after which a decision was made to impose a fine of 4,800,000 UAH. This is reported by Minцифра.

The message states that in the past six months PlayCity has fined 14 bloggers, websites, and media outlets. The total amount of fines imposed is 67.2 million UAH. Violations are detected during monitoring as well as through public complaints and reports.
Ban on casino advertising and what constitutes a violation
PlayCity reminded about the restrictions on advertising gambling in Ukraine. In particular, it is prohibited to:

show the game interface or winnings

promise bonuses or “free play”

promote brands without a Ukrainian license

disguise advertising as personal experience.
The message also states that screenshots and links to advertising materials are important for documenting violations.
