The government allocated a billion for heating the front-line regions: how the funds will be used

At a meeting with the heads of regional military administrations in front-line areas, issues regarding the heating season and challenges related to constant enemy attacks were discussed. Recently, nearly a billion hryvnias were allocated to front-line regions and communities to quickly address problems following military strikes, purchase equipment and fuel, repair heating networks, and restore water supply and power grids.


In the draft state budget for the next year, over 10.6 billion hryvnias are also earmarked for community subsidies. Special attention is given to the protection and passability of major roads, which are important logistical and evacuation routes in the conflict zone.



The meeting with the heads of regional military administrations in front-line areas discussed the financing of frontline regions and communities to ensure heating, water supply, and road repairs amid military actions and threats. We learned that significant funds are planned for subsidies and infrastructure repairs in these regions next year, which is an important step in improving the living conditions of the local population and ensuring their safety.
