Ongoing Deliveries of Interceptor Missiles to Ukraine
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has confirmed that interceptor missiles from the United States are reaching Ukraine every day and every week. “The good news is that deliveries of these critically important interceptors from the United States to Ukraine continue on a daily and weekly basis,” Rutte stated. This announcement underscores the sustained Western support aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s air defense capabilities amid ongoing hostilities.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has highlighted a major bottleneck: the standard waiting period for air defense systems and PAC-2 and PAC-3 missiles stretches over several years. According to Zelenskyy, under normal circumstances, Ukraine would not expect to receive such equipment until roughly 2030. However, he noted that Kyiv has engaged in negotiations with other nations that have placed orders for these systems, seeking to alter the delivery queue.
