Public discussions on the Communication Strategy project

The National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAZK) conducted public discussions on the draft Communication Strategy in the field of prevention and counteraction to corruption for 2026-2030. This strategy was developed taking into account the results of the previous document for 2023-2025. The discussions gathered specialists from the relevant departments of NAZK and representatives of public organizations such as the Institutional Development Foundation, 'Youth Development Center', and the Center for Socio-Economic Research CASE Ukraine.

According to survey results, 79.4% of citizens consider corruption one of the key problems in the country, while 91.4% state that corruption is a widespread phenomenon. The research also showed that 18.7% of citizens have personal experience of corrupt practices. These data indicate the need for active measures in the fight against corruption.

Key strategic goals for 2026-2030

The strategy for 2026-2030 has four key strategic goals:

  • Raising awareness of citizens about corrupt practices.
  • Increasing the use of services that are alternatives to corrupt practices.
  • Strengthening intolerance towards corruption among the population.
  • Developing communication infrastructure for more effective information delivery.

Implementing this strategy will require coordinated interaction between state authorities, anti-corruption institutions, civil society, and international partners. This will allow for a comprehensive approach to preventing and combating corruption in Ukraine in the coming years.

Preventing corruption remains an important priority for Ukraine, as corrupt practices can significantly hinder the social and economic development of the country. Given the high level of public concern on this issue, the implementation of the new strategy could be an important step towards forming a more transparent and accountable society. Moreover, the active participation of public organizations indicates the interest of society in addressing corruption issues and supporting reforms in this area.
