NACP's 2025 Impact: Hundreds of Recommendations Adopted Across Two Major Policy Areas
In 2025, Ukraine's National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) adopted a new, holistic approach to implementing anti-corruption policy. In the economic and law enforcement sphere, the NACP analyzed 1,820 draft regulatory acts. It conducted 48 anti-corruption assessments, uncovering 106 corruption-prone factors. Here, the agency provided 132 recommendations, with 99% being taken into account. This work covered regulations in justice, the activities of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA), customs brokerage, business grants, and legislation on local self-government bodies.
Furthermore, 2025 saw the preparation of analytical studies on 'Corruption Risks in the Justice System' and 'Top 10 Corruption Risks in Customs Reform'. A particular focus was placed on strengthening the role of authorized anti-corruption officers within institutions. This underscores the agency's commitment to a systemic anti-corruption strategy and improving the effectiveness of its initiatives.
