NABU Report on Corruption Monitoring
According to the report of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) on monitoring and control over the implementation of legislation on conflict of interest and prevention of corruption in the first half of 2026, the agency approved 22 substantiated conclusions. Of these, 13 conclusions related to signs of corrupt criminal offenses, the total amount of established losses exceeded 67.8 million UAH. In addition, 9 conclusions pointed to signs of offenses related to corruption.
NABU Activities and Identified Violations
In the course of its activities, NABU also drew up 10 protocols on administrative offenses related to corruption and issued 39 instructions to heads of state bodies and local government bodies. Among the identified violations were recorded:
- illegal receipt of gifts by officials;
- violations of restrictions on compatibility;
- use of service information with limited access;
- cases of actual conflict of interest.
NABU paid special attention to identifying corruption risks in the field of public procurement. Materials regarding possible abuses and misappropriations of budget funds were transferred to law enforcement agencies, and criminal proceedings have been initiated on a number of facts.
