Medical Professions with the Highest Expected Growth



  • Practicing Physicians: projected growth of 40%, leading to 128,400 new jobs. The median salary in 2024 was $129,210.

  • Medical and Health Services Managers: Growth of 23% (142,900 new positions).

  • Physician Assistants: growth of 20% (33,200 new positions).



Despite a wave of layoffs due to AI, the demand for technological solutions is also increasing the need for highly skilled workers in professional, scientific, and technical accounting fields. The clean energy and cybersecurity sectors are expected to show the fastest growth.
