Національний банк визначив графік роботи фінустанов у святковий період: які послуги будуть доступні без перерви.

Operational Regulation of the Banking System During the New Year Holidays

The National Bank of Ukraine has approved the operational regulation of the banking system and the electronic payment system for the period of New Year holidays. Most services will operate without interruption, ensuring continuous access to financial services for the population.

The electronic payment system (EPS) will operate in a 24/7 mode on December 30, 31, 2025, and January 1, 2026. However, it should be noted that on December 31 and January 1, EPS will not accept payments from the State Treasury Service. In this regard, December 30 has set time limits for settlements on public debt:

  • in currency until 1:00 PM,
  • in hryvnias until 4:00 PM.

Furthermore, the currency market and the NBU depository will operate as usual. The National Bank has instructed commercial banks to ensure uninterrupted operation of cashiers and replenish ATMs with cash, allowing customers to access necessary financial services during the holiday period. To improve service, a new information and reference service TrackEPS has been introduced, which allows tracking payments.

It should be reminded that due to the war, the National Bank of Ukraine has postponed the implementation of the e-hryvnia, which is also an important aspect for citizens during this difficult time.

This operational regulation of the banking system during the New Year holidays is an important step to ensure the stability of financial services in Ukraine, especially under conditions of military actions. The uninterrupted operation of the electronic payment system and commercial banks will allow citizens to receive necessary services without delays during the holidays. The new TrackEPS service is also important, as it enhances the transparency and convenience of financial operations. This indicates the National Bank's commitment to adapt the system to the needs of the population during wartime.
