Pensions in 2025: what additional payments Ukrainians will receive

In 2025, Ukrainian pensioners can expect an increase in payments due to additional mechanisms aimed at increasing the amount of their pension provision. In addition to the regular indexing, the Pension Fund of Ukraine plans to introduce other adjustments to support elderly citizens.

In his comment, the head of the PFU Yevhenii Kapinus revealed that in addition to the main payments, additional recalculations are conducted monthly, taking into account various factors such as work experience, salary, employment, and the age of the pensioner. The fund emphasizes control over the issuance of pensions to individuals who are internally displaced, are abroad, or live in temporarily occupied territories, stressing the need for pensions to be received only by those who have a legal right to them.

Additional payments aimed at vulnerable categories of pensioners are also mentioned, which simplify their lives in challenging conditions. Such payments include assistance for living, support in purchasing fuel, and other social aids that make their lives a bit easier in the grim realities of modernity.
