Emergency crews across Ukraine are actively responding to the aftermath of severe weather on April 24. In the Zhytomyr region, a tree fell onto an ambulance, though no injuries were reported. Meanwhile, in Vinnytsia Oblast, rescue teams are clearing fallen trees from roadways to restore normal traffic flow.

The Kyiv region experienced a fire triggered by toppled trees, which also complicated road travel. Meteorologists have issued warnings for overnight frost on April 24 across the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Kharkiv regions, where an orange (Level II) danger alert is in effect. For the rest of Ukraine, ground-level frost of 0–5°C is expected, prompting a yellow (Level I) warning.

Avoid areas where trees or structures might fall, and do not leave your vehicles there! In an emergency, call the State Emergency Service at 101.
