On the night of November 18, Russian rockets attacked the 'Kontrabas' film studio and film school in the city of Dnipro. The studio's owner, Oleksandra Teslenko, reported this on her Facebook.

Oleksandra Teslenko also noted that the 'Kontrabas' film studio had been successfully operating since 2019. Advertisements, films, and educational projects were filmed there. Student films created at Contrabas Movie School participated in various film festivals.
The owner emphasized that the occupiers destroyed the film industry of the central region and caused immeasurable damage.
Russian aggression against Dnipro
It should be reminded that on the same night, Russia massively attacked the city of Dnipro, causing damage to buildings and residential areas. The editorial office of 'Suspilne Dnipro' and 'Ukrainian Radio' was damaged during the shelling.
In addition, Russian troops attacked the city's railway infrastructure. As a result of the shelling, a suburban depot that serves passenger trains in the region was damaged. Despite this, morning trains from Dnipro departed on schedule.
Also, on the night of November 18, members of the Ziferblat band, who represented Ukraine at Eurovision, came under fire from Russian troops in Dnipro. During the attack on the train they were traveling on, they were caught in the explosion wave.
The attack on the 'Kontrabas' film studio was just one part of the Russian military aggression against the city of Dnipro, which led to the destruction of buildings, damage to the railway infrastructure, and threats to citizens' lives. Ukraine has suffered losses on all fronts, and the aggressor continues to violate international law and peaceful coexistence.
