On the night of January 10, a massive drone attack occurred in the Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of this aggression, 27 enemy UAVs were destroyed. Unfortunately, during the attack, two individuals were injured: a 44-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman. Additionally, infrastructure damage was recorded in the cities of Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih.
Consequences of the attack
The attack led to serious consequences. In Dnipro, a fire broke out in a garage cooperative, resulting in the destruction of two garages and damage to another 27. Furthermore, destruction was noted in the Samara district and the Nikopol area. The head of the Defense Council of Kryvyi Rih, Oleksandr Vilkul, confirmed that the city was attacked by 'shaheds.'
These events have resulted in the majority of consumers in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions being left without electricity. Oleksandr Vilkul appealed to the community to be cautious:
'Kryvyi Rih. Explosions. Another massive shahed attack. Take care of yourself and your loved ones.' - Oleksandr Vilkul
The attack inflicts new blows on the civilian population and infrastructure of the region.
This massive attack indicates the continuation of military actions in Ukraine, which affect the civilian population and critical infrastructure in the regions under attack. The lack of electricity in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions underscores the importance of the stability of the energy system, especially in conditions of increased risk of attacks. The government and local authorities continue to work on ensuring safety and supporting the population in this difficult situation.
