In the night of July 3, Russian terrorists struck Ukraine, deploying 52 strike drones Shahed and imitating various types. This was reported by
Glavkomciting the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The drones were launched from Oryol, Millerovo, and Primorsk-Akhtarsk. As of 08:00, Ukrainian air defense had shot down 40 enemy Shahed drones in the east and south of the country. 22 were downed using missiles, while another 18 were suppressed using electronic warfare.
Attack on Odessa: Injuries and Damage to Residential Building
On the same day, terrorists also attacked Odessa. As a result of the enemy attack, five people were injured, including two children. Following the shelling and the fall of drones, fires broke out in a multi-story residential building. The fire has already been extinguished by firefighters, who successfully put it out. Six apartments were destroyed, while another 36 received partial damage. Information on total losses is being clarified.
Interestingly, Russia had previously attempted to attack the Odessa region using marine drones, but they exploded in the waters of the enemy state, never reaching the city. The drones targeted Yuzhne but did not reach their objective.
As a result of Russian terrorist attacks on Ukraine using drones, significant damage was inflicted, injuries occurred, and destruction of residential buildings was caused. Drone attacks pose a threat to the civilian population and the safety of the country as a whole, requiring adequate response and measures within the framework of international cooperation.
