Ранок після важкої ночі: жінка, врятована з-під завалів у Харкові, свідчить про жахи атаки на українські міста.

Attack on Ukraine January 3

On the night of January 3, Russia attacked Ukraine, carrying out drone strikes on Kyiv and Mykolaiv. According to military sources, air defense was active over the capital. Timur Tkachenko urged residents to stay in safe places during the attack, noting that enemy UAVs were in the sky.

The attack on Mykolaiv began around 12:30 AM. The mayor of the city, Oleksandr Senkevych, reported the first explosions that occurred at that time. In Kharkiv, unfortunately, a woman's body was discovered under the rubble. Preliminary information suggests that this could be the mother of a deceased boy.

Personnel changes in Ukraine

Meanwhile, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appointed new leaders. Kyrylo Budanov became the new head of the Presidential Office, while Mykhailo Fedorov took the position of Minister of Defense. These personnel changes indicate the president's intention to strengthen key positions in the country's administration amidst military challenges.

This attack is part of an ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which has lasted for several years. Changes in leadership may reflect the Ukrainian government's attempts to adapt to new challenges and enhance the effectiveness of governance amid the war. It is important that these personnel reshuffles lead to improvements in defense strategy and responses to aggression that continues to threaten the country's security.
