Massive Attacks Across the Country

During the night of July 11, 2023, Russia launched large-scale attacks on Ukraine, killing two people in Kyiv and wounding five others, including one child. A residential high-rise, warehouse facilities, and cars were damaged in the capital. In the Kharkiv region, four more people were injured by drone and aerial bomb strikes, which also damaged homes, a cinema, and tennis courts.

A missile struck a park in Sumy and also hit a tractor brigade. In Zaporizhzhia, multiple apartment buildings were damaged. Additionally, power grid infrastructure was hit in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, and Donetsk regions. Overall, Russia used 13 missiles—8 of them ballistic—along with 151 drones. This marked the sixth ballistic attack on Kyiv in July alone.
