Нічний дроновий обстріл Одеси: зруйновано понад 20 житлових будинків, дитячі садки та навчальний заклад.

Odesa Targeted in Nighttime Strike

A nighttime drone attack on the port city of Odesa has caused extensive damage, impacting over 20 residential buildings, two kindergartens, and a school. Two people were injured in the assault and received on-site medical treatment. The head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, provided details of the incident.

Attack Details and Aftermath

The strike occurred on the night of February 4th, when Russian drones targeted the city. Infrastructure damage was recorded in three districts: Primorskyi, Peresyp, and Khadzhybei. Both multi-story apartment blocks and private homes were hit, with damage to roofs, facades, and shattered windows.

Utility services began clearing the wreckage immediately, working through the night to board up windows with OSB panels and plastic sheeting. Operational headquarters and heating points have been set up to assist residents, with international volunteer organizations also contributing to the effort. Odesa is a crucial Black Sea port city that has faced repeated attacks since the full-scale invasion began. Affected residents can seek consultations on compensation through the eRecovery program and for financial aid from the city budget.

The assault on Odesa reflects the ongoing regional tension and the war's severe impact on civilian populations and infrastructure. The rapid response by local authorities and volunteer groups highlights the critical need to support victims in the aftermath of such attacks.

Amid the ongoing conflict, these incidents underscore the necessity for sustained international aid and comprehensive measures to rebuild lives in cities suffering from the war.
