Dutch Support Strengthens Ukrainian Military Training
The Kingdom of the Netherlands is dedicating €10 million to develop military training centers in Ukraine aimed at enhancing the skills of Ukrainian servicemen. This announcement was made by Dutch Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius, during a meeting of the EU Defence Ministers. She emphasized the critical role of thorough training, stating:

Expanded Military Assistance and Future Plans
Since the launch of Dutch-funded military training programs in Ukraine, nearly 100,000 Ukrainian troops have been trained under the EUMAM initiative. Looking ahead, the Netherlands intends to provide over €3 billion in military aid to Ukraine by 2027. This support will encompass:
- maintenance of supplied weaponry;
- deployment of drone systems;
- enhancements to air defense capabilities.
Ukrainian Ambassador to the Netherlands, Andriy Kostin, has called for €2 billion in military support from the Netherlands to purchase air defense missiles and develop drone interception technologies. Additionally, the Netherlands has supplied 97 tons of energy equipment to five Ukrainian regions to bolster infrastructure resilience.
In a significant collaboration under the "Drone Deal," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Dutch Prime Minister formalized an agreement to enhance drone capabilities. The Dutch Prime Minister also expressed readiness to host a Special Tribunal investigating Russia's war crimes against Ukraine.
