New Energy Aid Package for Ukraine
The Dutch government has announced a new €23 million aid package to support Ukraine's energy infrastructure. This funding is designated for the purchase of natural gas, the repair of power plants, and the supply of critical energy equipment. As part of its ongoing assistance, the Netherlands has already delivered over 250 truckloads of energy equipment to Ukraine. In a complementary move, Germany has agreed to supply two mini thermal power plants, which will further aid in stabilizing the country's energy situation. Progress is already visible, with five cogeneration units installed in Kyiv, two of which are currently operational.
